The free trial offered for new clients is a downside, since a good number of people use the service for only those 3 days, or cancel when they see that this is not a crisis service with therapists available immediately. They tout themselves as the largest online therapy platform but if this was the case I would think things would be more organized. Secondly, the management/infrastructure here is questionable. The bulk of my clients that are still somehow assigned to me don't even respond, but we still need to reach out to them daily. 80-90% of the clients that were referred to me cancelled within the first three days which is considered a "free trial", despite following 7 Cup's recommendations to immediately engage them and be responsive, no matter what day or time of day they are referred to you. I have only worked for this one but at this point will be taking my services elsewhere as this company has been difficult to deal with.įirstly, I don't know if this is the case with other online therapy platforms, but it is very difficult to hold onto clients.
